Handling packages of lumber is not an easy job in most lumber mills. However, with the addition of our Verticut machine, a single operator can fully manage the process of package cut off with precision and accuracy, all in under 55 seconds per cycle.
Our experience in the lumber industry has allowed us to design the Verticut 2000 to meet all the needs of a small to large size lumber operation. Our custom design even eliminates the need for a double even ending unit, increasing processing speed and improving efficiency.
There are many different reasons to choose a Verticut machine, but there are several that really stand out for lumber mill operators. As with all of our products, dependability, rugged construction and a long-life cycle are always a component of this equipment.
Cutting Tolerances
As with any of the equipment or the various options in package cut off saws we offer, we understand the importance of accuracy in the cutting process. The Verticut 2020 is able to offer a cutting tolerance of plus or minus 0.04 inches, which allows for precision cuts with the speed and efficiency needed.
Additionally, we offer the Verticut machine with a thin chainsaw blade with only a 3/8 kerf for reduced waste and higher efficiency.
Hydraulic Power
With the use of a 2Hp motor drive and a variable displacement vane pump, the on-board hydraulic system has more than enough power to move the blade through the package, creating an even cut that has a better surface finish than a more traditional trim saw offers.
Optional Features
We also load the Verticut 2020 with a full range of options. These include a laser light saw line guide, bump even ending system, full automation of the controls as well as a strapping station. Infeed and outfeed staging decks on either side of the saw make this an ideal system for any lumber mill.
